Hey! I’m Melanie. I have been a stylist since 2004 when I started out my career in high school while still in high school. I quickly fell in love with everything to do with fashion and hair styling. Starting out as a colour technician, then working up to a stylist was a wonderful adventure so far. Growing up in Ottawa, Ontario gave me a lot of inspiration and confidence because I was working in very competitive salons around the downtown area. From highlights, colour, precision hair cuts, blowouts,  eccentric updos , high fashion colours , extensions , cornrows, and so much more .

I recently moved to Nanaimo,  BC in Jan 2023 with my husband . We absolutely love the island! Working at Breze , using Aveda is wonderful. I truly love all the products we have. Our Botanical Repair shampoo , conditioner and styling aids are absolutely fantastic, as well as the Nutriplenish curl products!  I look forward to the opportunity of having you in my chair.
