Do you do hair, too?
Yes. We are a day spa and full-service hair salon, catering to men, women and children.

Do you do hair extensions?
Yes. 100% natural clip-in hair extensions. Prices vary depending on colour, length, etc. Consultations required.

Is Aveda hair colour natural?
Aveda hair colour is 97% naturally derived from plants and non-petroleum based minerals.

I coloured my hair at home and it turned a funny colour. Can you fix it?
Colour corrections can be done only upon consultation. Our best advice is to not use a non-professional hair colour on your hair. Corrections can be very time-consuming, costly and damaging to your hair. Results cannot be guaranteed, and we may decide that there may not be anything that can be done on a salon level.

I would like to book an updo for my wedding, prom or special occasion. What’s the protocol?
We recommend a consultation appointment. This may be a verbal, complimentary session. (If you require a full trial updo, it will be at the cost of an updo. Prices for updos are based on the amount of hair and length of service.) Please bring pictures or any ideas with you to your consultation appointment. This is highly recommended to get the look you want on the big day. Please arrive for your appointment with unwashed hair. (When freshly washed it is too soft and unmanageable to hold the style you will receive.) Please wear a button-down shirt, so you can take it off later without ruining your beautiful hair.

What if I don’t like my haircut or color that I received at Breze?
If you aren’t 100% satisfied, we invite you to come back for a complimentary consultation.

If I’m getting married on a Saturday should I have a facial on Thursday?
Absolutely not. Different people experience different results. Some may experience sensitivity. We recommend at least a week prior.

What’s the difference between a microdermabrasion and an Aveda Botanical Skin Resurfacing Facial?
The Aveda Botanical Skin Resurfacing Facial process gently lifts sloughed off skin cells, smoothes fine lines, and helps reduce the aging process – without all the redness and irritation of microderm. It’s a relaxing experience while your skin is beautified.

I’m coming in for a pedicure. What should I wear?
We recommend bringing open-toed shoes to wear home after your appointment, however, we do provide disposable pedi slippers. We supply robes for all of our services. If you don’t want to change, you can roll up your pants (skinny jeans not recommended).

I think I have nail fungus. Can I still receive my services?
We advise that you see your family doctor first.

What kind of wax do you use?
We use an all-natural formula honey wax.

How long does hair have to be to get waxed?
At least ¼ of an inch.

How should I prepare for my bikini or Brazilian waxing service?
Please trim excess hair at home first. This makes the process easier with less discomfort for you. We supply feminine wipes (available in basket in bathroom) before you have your service done. We also supply disposable undies, or you can wear your own.

If I’m under the age of 16, do I need parent/guardian permission to get waxing services?
Yes.

Can I get bikini or Brazilian waxing while I am menstruating or pregnant?
Yes. However, keep in mind that your skin may be more sensitive at this time.

Can I get waxed if I have been sun tanning?
Please discuss with your technician before your service begins.

I have a special occasion or holiday coming up. How soon before should I get waxed?
At least two or three days before in case of any reaction.

Will medications affect my services?
They may, depending what medications you are on. Please discuss with your technician before your service begins.

If I am pregnant will this affect any of my services?
You can still receive any of our services, which incorporate only natural plant- and flower-based products. However, keep in mind that your skin may be more sensitive during pregnancy. Please advise us when you reserve your appointment.

Do you sell other AVEDA products besides shampoos and conditioners?
Yes. We carry the full line of Aveda products for you to experience. This includes skin care, make up, candles, oils, personal blends, comforting tea and body care. Our professional hair salon uses only Aveda hair colour.

What is your return policy for AVEDA products?
We will gladly exchange or refund your products if you have an allergic reaction or there is a packaging problem.
